Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the neoclassic Minnesota Judicial Center was originally completed in 1917 and features eight two-story granite Ionic columns. Our work included major exterior and interior renovations.
On the exterior we completed tuckpointing and cleaning of granite, removed and replaced many granite stone members, cut new window openings, installed a new clay tile roof, and installed a new skylight and new copper roofing. On the interior we demolished floors and structure while leaving the existing roof framing in place through the use of a shoring system.
