The Doppler Very High Frequency Omni-Range (DVOR) Facility consisted of the construction of a concrete support core structure to hold a space frame VOR. Our work included a three story polygon shaped exposed concrete structure with a concrete roof deck covered by insulated single-ply membrane roofing, interior stairs, hollow metal doors and frames, and wall, floor, and ceiling finishes. Our work also included fencing and landscaping, complete mechanical and electrical equipment, coordination of work to prepare the concrete structure for the space frame VOR, and removal of a 75 foot diameter flat steel truss-type DVOR elevated space frame.
